| Introduction | Gwyned Trefethen started as a quilter in 1988 and has morphed since then from quilter to artist. She is most recognized for her value shifting series that examines what happens when value is shifted from two opposing directions across the quilt canvass. Trefethen’s work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally. It can be found in multiple publications including on the title page of 500 Art Quilts (Lark 2010.) She served as the MA/RI Representative for Studio Art Quilts Associates until her move to Appleton, WI forced her to resign. Trefethen lectures, teaches and creates work on commission. |
