| Introduction | My name is Doris, and I have had this idea to create a blog for quite a while.I believe God birthed it in my heart as I took notice of what a wonderful outlet for ministry and sharing of our faith in the Lord Jesus it could be.I like myself to check out fashion blogs and mommy blogs, but I thought to myself "What if I wrote a blog about The Thing that matters the most in our life?", which is our relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ who died on the cross to redeem sinners like us.Being a wife and mom does not allow me enough time, but I decided that I would never do it if I do not make time for it. I chose to name my blog "By His stripes, We are Healed" (Isaiah 53:4-5) because each stripe our Lord and Savior endured for us redeemed us from our disease, but also our shame, guilt,condemnation etc. My prayer to our sweet savior is that this blog will be a platform for sharing our daily experience of our christian walk with Him.May God use it to encourage, uplift each one of us knowing that we won the battle already if we could only believe it.And may everything we do on earth be for His Glory. By His Stripes, We are Healed...Amen. |
