| Introduction | Founder and former owner of a perennial and aquatic plant nursery, growing more than 1,200 varieties of mostly rare and unusual perennials, including native, shade and bog plants. Propagating and producing plants for retail sale and maintaining 8 acres of property, which included more than 4,000 square feet of gardens and 2 acres of ponds. A published horticultural writer, also produced two videos for gardening instruction. Currently has "Gardening Matters", a consultation, design, and maintenance business. Lectures and teaches gardening through various venues, and creates the website www.gardeningmatters.com |
