| Introduction | I was born in East L.A. (eastern Lower Alabama), lived in Orlando, Florida before our family moved to Richardson, TX when I was 15. Later, at the University of Texas At Austin I got a degree and a wife--the college degree was fine, but the best thing I found in Austin was my wife, who is my grounding strength and my best friend. Our family currently includes two sons and five grandsons (and two grand dogs).. I came to ministry later in life than most, although I knew I had been resisting that call for a long time. I was happiest when I was at church, working with students, which I did for years before coming to LoveNotes. My association with LoveNotes finds me happier than I’ve ever been. Getting to see people at the happiest time in their life is a real thrill and besides, after 49 years of marriage I just might have learned something I can share with couples.
