Introduction	This is the web diary of a place: Omineca Lodge in the north central interior of BC. One hour from Fort St. James. We operate the lodge from break-up (May) to freeze-up(November). That's our season. The aim of this blog is to capture the progress of a season in the bush. Jill and I will maintain the lodge's web diary. The blog will focus on birds and wildlife, the art of the fly, trout and their food, people and our food, sunsets and the stars at night.
