| Introduction | I am a self-taught poet who feels words like musical notes. They sing through me and I hope to you. I have been writing for twenty-six years. I wrote a little as a child but never really had the mentoring, I would have liked. At Twenty-four I got mad at a Lieutenant in the Air Force, and instead of getting angry and telling him off, I wrote a humorous poem. It made so many people laugh as well as winning their kudos, I continued writing for myself until in 1987, when I put them all together to share with others. The book was called, Code of Silence Deep Within. I sold about 500 copies and was interviewed on KPBS radio in San Diego. I have been writing ever since and have evolved both as a spiritual person as well as a writer. I have done a lot of work with children in Juvenal hall and half way homes. My goal is to some day set up a program to assist them better and give them the love they/we all desire and deserve.
