| Introduction | Eleuteria Helen Abordo Sarita Eleuteria Helen Abordo Sarita, fondly and widely known as “Mother Eagle” or simply Helen, is a dedicated advocate for literature, community unity, and service. She is the founder of Filipino Poets and Blossoms, host of MEBS — Mother Eagle Blossom Show, and a radio DJ at 107.7 Easy Radio Canlaon City, where she shares inspiration, hope, and encouragement with her audience. She has been featured as a cover personality for Blossoms Journal International and Vents UK Magazine. Recently, she has embraced her artistic side, painting on canvases, bags, and hats — not for business, but to raise support for her community advocacies. She founded Lumad sa Tagbino to nurture good relations among neighbors regardless of political differences, and serves as President of the Bacolod City Quest Lions Club. She is also the Directress of ME Publications, one of the organizers of Gawad Pamana ng Pluma, and owner of ME At Your Service Supplies OPC. A widow, mother of five, and grandmother of six, her life and work are rooted in faith, gratitude, and the mission to share light, goodness, and purpose with others. |
