| Introduction | Jon Fox is an independent, freelance travel and documentary photographer. Based in the heart of England, Jon travels extensively for leisure and business, working on assignment or on commission creating stock images, but always being inspired by what he sees. For Jon photography is more than a vocation or an art form, it’s a way of life. He acquired his first camera in his hand when he was thirteen, then over the next thirty years has never been without a camera in his hands. One of the biggest challenges I face is in making total strangers feel at ease. I see the camera as an extension of my minds eye. With the click of the shutter capturing for eternity a situation or environment. As I walk through differing places I never know what to expect. But wherever I am, whenever I go, my camera and eye are there to freeze that moment for others to share. |
