Introduction	Welcome to my new blog, Sober in the Suburbs. This blog will help me share my story of learning to live without alcohol in my life. It's one thing if you are imprisoned in a stone castle with no one else around except other recovering alcoholics. It's another thing entirely when you are living in a world where drinking is the favorite pasttime of the inhabitants, and you have to learn to coexist peacefully. Such is life in my suburb.
