| Introduction | Despite enormous challenges (only some of which were included in this blog,) Anthony eventually succeeded in escaping IT, closing out the last six years of his career as "The Creative Octopus," as he was dibbed by his team members. Rising from contracted 3D modeler to the Artistic Project Manager in under four years, and ecstatic to have finally reached his goal, Anthony was nevertheless relieved when, only a handful of weeks before COVID-19 lockdowns began in earnest, he and his entire team were laid off. After a brief return to corporate in 2022, he hung up the lanyard to go entirely freelance. He and his wife of 39 years enjoy their empty nest lifestyle, having sold their complete PITA house to happily squeeze into a condo barely larger than his university apartment. He could not be happier. |
