| Introduction | History and writing have always been of a particular interest to me. I penned my first mystery novel at the ripe age of 8 and still have the single remaining manuscript of construction and typing paper. From a young age, the US Civil War, also commonly referred to as The War Between The States, has been in the forefront of my thoughts, dreams and nightmares. As with most periods in the history of the world, I often place myself in "what-if" scenarios and mentally wander off in search of how I would have reacted, acted, and participated in those events. Such mental excercises have led me to many Uncommon paths. |
