Introduction	I am thrilled to be a teacher, first of all, and I am thankful to be a part of your lives this year! I have been a part of the District Five family for eight years, and this is my 13th year of teaching. I have taught first, third, fourth, seventh, and eighth grade! I also obtained a Master's degree in Reading from Winthrop University in 2003. I have been honored as Teacher of the Year in 2003 from Kinard Elementary School in Clover, SC; and Spartanburg County's Reading Teacher of the Year in 2006.
