About me

Introduction	Akshara Foundation of Arts and Learning (AFAL) was founded in 2007, as a Mumbai-based not-for-profit public trust. Akshara Foundation of Arts & Learning was born with a dream. To enrich the life of every child by integrating arts into the process of learning. It provides a platform to fruitfully channelize their creativity and gives them the opportunity to overcome the limitations around them. We wish to build spaces that provide equal opportunities and an environment that supports learning where the arts form an essential part of life. A world where children absorb knowledge, develop skills, and express themselves freely without fear or prejudice, thus empowering them. We work across several areas, all focused on integrating the arts into education. Among its many projects, is a not-for-profit ICSE-affiliated school that promotes affordable education and brings to the forefront the importance of the arts in everyday curriculum.
