| Introduction | Multicultural literature is literature about people who are considered outside of the mainstream of society and have been in some manner marginalized. This definition would include people from diverse cultural, linguistic, socioeconomic, and religious backgrounds. Global Literature has some similarities to multicultural literature, ‘’Global literature’’ to me means literature that can connect to different people all around the world he meaning no matter what someone’s situation might be around the world, they can read a certain type of literature and, the reader can connect to the situation happening in the story. Global literature gestures towards its general readership. This type of literature brings the world closer together because we can all relate to the readings no matter where we live on the globe. |
