| Introduction | For 32 years I toiled in the broadcast industry, working my way up through the ranks from small stations in New Hampshire and Vermont, to large stations in Massachusetts and Michigan. I worked as a newsman, disc jockey, sports director, assistant program director and sportscaster over that time span, I even mowed the station's lawn and swept the floors at my first radio "gig" in 1966, as well as being a staff announcer. 32 years was enough for me though and in 1998 I became a full time, licensed Realtor in the state of Michigan, a job I continue to this day. I maintain a great attitude about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness (mine and my clients!) as I continue to muddle daily through our wonderful, wacky world. |
| Interests | Reading, sports, travel, referrals, keeping my clients happy and family and friends |
| Favorite movies | Stagecoach (the John Wayne version of course), The Best Years of Our Lives, Harvey, The Searchers, The Killing, Paths of Glory, Dr. Strangelove, The Train, The Godfather Part one, The Last Tango in Paris, Tootsie, Full Metal Jacket ('ya think I might like Kubrick?), Cyrano (with the great Gerard Depardeau), Unforgiven, Fargo, The Pianist, Million Dollar Baby and anything with John Garfield |
| Favorite music | I just love Dmitri Shostovich's symphonies and the works of Jean Sibelius and Anton Bruckner. I love jazz trios, Earl Klugh and Anita Baker. Of course, the Beatles, Neil Sedaka, Carol King and yes, sometimes even Madonna intrigues me! |
| Favorite books | Anything by my favorite hometown (Exeter, New Hampshire) authors, Dan Brown and John Irving. I also thoroughly enjoy Boston's Robert B. Parker's "Spencer" and "Jesse Stone" novels and along that same line I just can't get enough of reading Minneapolis' John Sandford's "Prey" novels featuring his famous sleuth "Lucas Davenport." |
