| Introduction | Jason Manwaring is an academic nomad that spent years in college jumping from major to major, trying to decide what he wanted to do for a living. Along the way, he started writing fiction as a hobby and gradually came to realize that none of the other options he'd investigated would ever make him as happy as telling a good story to a captivated audience. Jason's writing career started with reading hundreds of great books from an early age that gave him the desire to share stories with others. While he wrote several short stories as a child and even co-authored a surreal horror novella in high school, Jason always thought writing an entire novel to be such a huge undertaking that he didn't dare try. That changed when Jason had an idea that wouldn't leave him alone and started writing it down. He ended up with six hundred pages that will never see the light of day and a burning desire to improve as an author. Four novels later, Jason is beginning to see the realization of his goals with the upcoming publication of The Craftmaster. Jason currently resides in Orem, Utah with his wonderful wife, Nicole, his best source of both inspiration and support. |
