| Introduction | I'm a young grandfather who was initially diagnosed with peripheral neuropathy but then after multiple long and painful tests was told that I actually have CIDP. And then -- just kidding -- my final diagnosis was Idiopathic Peripheral Neuropathy. Back to where I started. Regardless of the label, this disabling illness has changed the way that I walk (with a walker...), sleep, move, and think. And much more. The pain is something that I must constantly deal with. And I've felt anxiety rise at times not knowing what's in store for me in the next few weeks, months, years, and decades.
