Introduction	I've collected jewelry since my early 20's, and I started looking for buttons for a friend who had an antique shop who asked for them. As I handled them, I suddenly fell in love with the tiny treasures and started to only give her buttons IF they were duplicates of what I had found. They were so much like jewelry, I found it easy to identify most materials and eras. I've been collecting buttons for over 20 years and love the research, history and story behind each little button.
