| Introduction | This blog follows some of my journey - a journey of loss and anger and confusion. I have given birth to, and buried, three big and beautiful babies. My daughter (Freyja) who was stillborn in July 2006 when I was 28 weeks pregnant. My first son (Kees) who died very unexpectedly when he was 7 weeks old in March 2008. My second son (Jet) who died unexpectedly on 1 September 2009 when he was three days old. We don't know why they died -- the doctors don't know why they died. I am now struggling to live my life. To live my life with a very different future than the one I had hoped for. A future with no living children. I have found that putting my thoughts onto "paper" has been helpful to me. |
