Introduction	Marga Dorao is the creator and designer of Hattini. In love with art in all its conceptions, Marga was raised among canvases and oil paint, architectural plans, clothing patterns, developing liquids and photographic paper, and old Super 8mm films. During her childhood, she would spend hours looking at old photos and contemplated, with fascination, the wonderful clothes her grandmothers wore. Her love for everything vintage grew when, at the age of 17, she moved to London to finish her high school studies. Every Friday, after school, she would walk to Portobello Road Market to purchase all the clothes, books and records that her small budget allowed her to. Back in Spain, Marga built a ‘new’ wardrobe, consisting in all the clothes that her mother still kept from the 60s and the 70s. But it wasn’t until 2008 that she got to immerse herself in the world of fashion by chance. Thanks to a hat she designed for the wedding of one of her best friends, she started receiving custom orders and, barely a few weeks later, Hattini was born. Marga currently lives between Spain and New York, and besides dedicating herself to Hattini, she writes, paints, daydreams and plans a million travels.
