Introduction	Hello and welcome to my blog! I have six children aged from 27 to 12, three of each and two beautiful grandaughters. I am married to Matt who works at sea and before leaving the UK I worked in the field of drug and alcohol misuse. We left Yorkshire in October 2010 to start a new life in New Zealand, four of our kids came with us. This is for the family and friends we have left behind but still love as much as ever.
Interests	Walking, cycling, reading, growing things, being active,trying new things, buying old things, learning to be self sufficient (hopefully!), permaculture horses.
Favorite movies	The Piano, Thelma and Louise, Last of the Mohicans, Lord of the Rings, Little Miss Sunshine, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,Gone with the Wind, Top Gun, Interview with the Vampire, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Searchers, Finding Nemo, Grease
Favorite music	Ipod has all sorts on it from Pink Floyd to Black Eyed Peas, lots of cheesy pop and 70's 80's rock.
Favorite books	Tess, Far from the Madding Crowd, The Mayor of Castorbridge, Persuasion, Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Vanity Fair, Secret History, Time Travellers Wife, Little House on the Prairie, Alias Grace, Handmaids Tale, Blind Assassin, House of Spirits, Leviathon, The Fatal Shore, and a thousand others!
