| Introduction | Born and brought up in the Temple town of Kumbakonam, Tamilnadu, India. Developed a taste for Music and Dance at an early age, inspired by my mother and her sister both well versed in Carnatic Music. Dance took the lead. Started learning at the age of 5, and still pursuing. Received Best Dancer Award for the year 1993, in the Talent Promotion Program conducted by the Indian Fine Arts Society, Chennai. Choreographed and Performed ‘Venkata Krishna Sakhyam’, a Thematic Presentation based on the Compositions of Oothukkadu Sri Venkata Subbhaiyar. Performed this widely in India and in the USA. |
