| Introduction | THIS IS ME Since being widowed 4 years ago, I’ve been slowly coming to know and understand who I am and what I can do as an ‘only’ after 44 years in partnership with my soulmate. Two little puppies keep me busy and fulfil my ‘caring’ need and we are about to spend some time travelling Australia in an old Motorhome. You’re welcome to follow us and join in our adventures. THE BACK STORY They had a wistful thought, a longheld desire, a faraway dream, some one-day plans, a spark of motivation, an opportunity and now it's a reality. This Australian couple packed up their lives and entered into their journey of a lifetime - eight months exploring the USA, coast to coast, taking the roads less travelled. Once back in Australia, they moved back to their hometown, reconnected with old friends and made new ones. Soon after they were settled, sadly Johno was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease and heart disease. In 2017, he passed away from disease complications. |
