Introduction	I’m a Michigan, USA native who moved to Scotland about six years ago. Once I got here, I decided to embark on a career in finance. I worked for four years as a financial planner, earning multiple qualifications in financial planning and stock broking along the way. Although I really enjoyed the advising/helping people aspect of being a financial adviser, the hardcore sales element (door knocking, cold-calling, networking myself into a coma) wasn’t so enjoyable. So I decided to try my hand at trading – with mixed results, as I’ll share with you. I’ve also done some investing, in funds, rental properties, gold, and various other things. This blog chronicles my observations as I’ve meandered my way along the financial quagmire of life. Hopefully you’ll find my entries informative and entertaining.
