| Introduction | Worked 4 years after HS, at Boston College, attended evening college. Tried nursing school. LPN. Medical secretary, MGH. Epiphany 1983 -- be a teacher!! Back to college 1984. Taught in alternative schools a few years. ESL teacher 10 years. Burned out last 2 years as job developer. Began Fr. Maurice Dullea SJ athletic scholarship at BC. Church choir. Worked for doctors till 4/2010, retired, making more time for this project. HS 50th reunion 2011 (Milton HS 1961). Member Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) UMass Boston, classes in blogging, PowerPoint. To England to visit family 2013 (& Ibiza Spain). Did 2 episodes of QATV show Gateway to Science: Sports and Games; 2014. May 2014-17 at Quincy Center for Innovation where I help run South Shore Science Festival 2015-18. Brought Gateway to Science to BC FanFest 2015, 2016. To LA Feb 2016 to visit family. To Trinidad &Tobago Feb 2017 to visit friend. To Liverpool Feb 2018. Broke left wrist 3/17/18; titanium implant. Better now (Aug 2018). To Liverpool Jan 2020. To Las Vegas Feb 2022. Science Festival partner Manuel Barroso continues the festival virtually since 2020. |
