About me

Introduction Fortunate enough to have lived, worked and eaten my way through more than 40 countries around the world (and still counting), I am a dedicated foodie and budding writer who has been trained in the culinary arts by sommeliers, Michelin starred chefs and… my mother. The title “Eten n Drinken” is an homage to my roots and came about when I discovered during a road trip through the Netherlands that Brooklynese, the language of my grandparents, was really a combination of Dutch and English words and not just the déclassé slang that makes most people cringe. So to the memory of our Sunday family dinners and my grandfather’s weekly question, “Whata we eten n drinken?” I dedicate this blog.
