| Introduction | I'm a white, English girly, girl in her 20’s who some may describe as 'high maintenance' (I disagree), who has moved to Mumbai with her husband who is starting a job here. I'm not in India to 'discover myself', I'm not one to immerse myself in culture and 'do as the locals do', I'm definitely not a writer (In fact when I was doing my GCSE's at school, my English Teacher Mrs Pickering told my Mom and Dad at parents evening that I would probably fail my exam. In the end I got a perfectly acceptable 'C' so stick that in you pipe and smoke it Mrs P!) and I never think before I speak. I’m just here to support my husband, have a good time and try something new. I decided to write this blog because: A- I don’t have a job and the chances of me finding a job on more than 5000 pounds per year is very slim and this will keep me occupied B- I hope it will be a useful tool for people moving or travelling to Mumbai C- I think it will be nice for people to see Mumbai from a different perspective D- I want something to show the grandkids when I’m older Enjoy.... |
