| Introduction | Once upon a time- i had a romantic view of abrokyere. Heck, i wanted to travel abroad tooo and boast about with my brand new kanboo(trainers) and watch. And so, when i finally came to Abrokyere, i soon realised that life is very different to the romantic pictures painted by family members who paid annual visits to ghana at Christmas and New year. I live abroad but i still believe that the grass is green in ghana. Some people think other wise, if only they knew the hustle and bustle "people" go through here, just to make ends meet and then send money home to our love ones. This is my attempt to capture the funny and sad things I ( a ghanaian)and other ghanaians do here in abrokyere (UK). |
