Introduction	Started in September 2009 by Zeke Vantreese, the First Friday Indie Markets came about through a mutual need for local artists and crafts people to have a place to market what they create and try to make a name for themselves. 2009 was a very successful year for the Markets and all who were involved. We hope to continue that tradition through 2010 and beyond. Organizers are Mandy Nelson (Purple Hook) and Chris Bettini (Ikow Designs).
