| Introduction | I have lived and worked as an overseas missionary for more than 18 years, in the Dominican Republic and Haiti, although I now live in the Atlanta area and work all over the world. I am a pediatric nurse practitioner and I'm passionate about nutritional issues facing children. I grew up throughout the midwest and have friends scattered all over the US. I graduated from the University of Missouri, Columbia with my MSN in May 2009 and did undergraduate work at both Judson University and the University of MIssouri. I have also taken a Master's certificate course through Tufts University and the United Nations University on International Nutrition. The motto I try to live by is "Do what you can, with what you've got, in the moment you are given." |
