| Introduction | Welcome to Kathiyawari’s weblog. Kathiyawar, a region in Gujarat’s Saurastra in India is home to one of the oldest and most colorful cultures in the country. Full of folklores on warriors, human relations, folk songs etc, it is one of its kinds. This land gave birth to the first ever Gujarati poet – Narsinh Mehta, this land gave birth to the Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi. I belong to a wonderful family. My dad is a Consulting Physician practicing in Porbandar for over FORTY FIVE (45) years. My mom is an Architect but she gave up her career for the sake of us 2 brothers (…and we can’t thank her enough for that…). I have 1 elder brother who is married and has a wonderful 9 year old son (Abhinav). After spending 19 years in the US he and his family have shifted to Bangalore now! I am married and have a wonderful wife in Kruti and a gorgeous 6 year old daughter…..We live in Amdavad and also in our dream world….However, if given a chance and if I ever was to settle outside it would be Toledo, Ohio! This blog is a reflection of thoughts and moments of my life ….moments of pain, moments of sorrow, moments of happiness, moments of wonder, moments to cherish….in short my life! |
