IntroductionMom to three children of mixed-race heritage, I’m an author who’s compelled to write about social concerns. While researching biracial issues for my first novel, ONE SISTER'S SONG (published by Pearl Street Publishing of Denver), I compiled an extensive list of resources on tolerance initiatives. Many people and organizations work to expose the realities of prejudice, past and present, every day; others have written books or designed products to spread their message of peace to people of all colors, especially children. This blog is designed to highlight as many of these resources as possible, with special attention given to those who choose not only to tolerate differences among us, but to celebrate the wondrous diversity of this race we call human.
