Favorite music	My roots lie in traditionnal music, even in the label 'world music'. I was woken to music by the south african singers of Lady Smith Black Mambazo, and later had my own rock period I still feel attached to. Michel Ndegeocello said: "No one's striving to be Miles Davis. Everybody's striving to get paid. And, you know, I want to be like Miles Davis." A listener is much more now.
Favorite books	I think since I started reading Toni Morrison, I really fell for it. The Breton poets, Yvon Le Men and Xavier Graal. The Beat poet Jack Kerouac. Dylan Thomas when I have time to read it. Boris Vian and his jazz papers. Just William or 'le petit nicolas', anything for kids. Carolin Humphreys, David Morley, Keith Hart, Michael Stewart and more concerning music, media, anthropology, photography...
