Favorite Music	My roots lie in traditionnal music, even in the label 'world music'. I was woken to music by the south african singers of Lady Smith Black Mambazo, and later had my own rock period I still feel attached to. Michel Ndegeocello said: "No one's striving to be Miles Davis. Everybody's striving to get paid. And, you know, I want to be like Miles Davis." A listener is much more now.
Favorite Books	I think since I started reading Toni Morrison, I really fell for it. The Breton poets, Yvon Le Men and Xavier Graal. The Beat poet Jack Kerouac. Dylan Thomas when I have time to read it. Boris Vian and his jazz papers. Just William or 'le petit nicolas', anything for kids.
