Introduction	First, I am a child of God. This defines everything else about me. I am also a wife, mother, ESL tutor, drummer, would be scholar/writer and, last but often least, a housekeeper. With God's help I am working to improve myself in all of these areas, because, as every mother knows, feelings of incompetence are just part of the job.

Favorite books	Anything by: Dorothy Sayers, Agatha Christie, Terry Pratchett, Ngaio Marsh, Alistair MacLean, Mary Stewert, Rex Stout, Helen MacInnes, Ellis Peters and various and sundry others, here and there, off and on.

I will lose my footing, and then get up and laugh, and hope the scars heal.
