| Introduction | We met the summer of 2004 in Chicago in a bar (yes, a bar) called Zella. Dan took Carrie's phone number but didn't call her (what? why?). The very next weekend, we walked right past each other during the "Retro on Roscoe" street festival. Reuniting through a crowd of thousands....they knew it was fate. After many hilariously fun dates, travels, cohabitation and a big move from Chicago to Atlanta, we knew we wanted to be together forever. So after 5 years of being together, we married in March of 2009. We instantly wanted to start a family but after a year of trying, no pregnancy. After being referred to a fertility clinic we were shocked to learn not only that we had to explore using IVF, but the price tag was over $24,000 and insurance covered none of it. So we thought it would be fun to share our journey and to give hope and support to those going through the same experience. So with a lot of love and humor...here we are.
