Which is more important to you and why: flexibility or expandability?
Flexibility allows us to get the most bang for our buck without restricting reality to our expectations. Metabolic flexibility lets me live on whatever I can find, like an omnivore should. Epistemalogical flexibility lets me throw away the prototypes when they prove no longer worthy of the effort to maintain.
