Introduction Nothing Jewish is foreign to me. From Satmar to Spinoza; from the Zitichover to Zionism; from Yoseleh Rosenblat and Zanvel Kwartin to the Klezmatics; from Mendeleh Moykher-Sforim & Sholem Aleykhem to Mel Brooks and Larry David, I am an lover of Jewish culture, literature, music and history. My professional and personal passion in life is to share, teach and transmit my knowledge and passion to others.
Interests Jewish History and Rabbinical thought from Rambam to the Vilner Gaon; from the Ari to the Besht. Yiddishe shprakh, literatur un kultur: the amazing, rich, diverse and beautiful civilization of my East European ancestors, from Musar sforim to Haskalah Literature and from Khsidishe nigunim to khazones. Most recently, to debunking the modern mythology that has transformed Spinoza into a secular Jewish hero. Most important: a bis'l hering mit shvartzbreyt; a fleyshig tchulent un a shayn shtik'l livtishe kugel (ha-mekhuneh be'laaz, Salt n' Pepper).
