Introduction | I am a birder currently living in County Wicklow, Ireland. I started birding as a child in the UK, and have lived in many countries since then, in Africa, the Middle East, Asia and the USA. I started keeping a birding blog while living in The Philippines in 2010, A Birder in The Philippines. It became a habit, and when I moved to the USA in 2014 I started a new one, Paul's US Birding Blog. I am now on my third birding blog, and don't plan to stop anytime soon. The purpose of the blog has changed however. In The Philippines I was the first birder to blog, and published it as a resource to help others when visiting the country. In The USA and Ireland that kind of information is easily found elsewhere, so my blog is little more than a birder's diary. A place to store my photographs, and record my thoughts. |
