Introduction I think Photography is about exploration - exploring your surroundings, exploring the psyche of another person, putting someone in a new situation and seeing who they transform into. Every person I shoot gives me something unique and beautiful. The beauty that I see from the work that I do is my constant reminder that beauty DOES exist, even among a world that seems so less than perfect. Its a reminder of what should be.
Interests Photography, my husband, art and movies, learning about people, dancing, Petunia - the bunny love of my life.
Favorite Movies There are 3 movies that I could probably watch over and over and never get tired of:Dumb and Dumber, American Beauty and August Rush. Spaceballs and 3 Amigos would definitely be up there. I love the imagery from "Leminy Snicket's a series of unfortunate events". It bummed me out that it got so little recognition. Danny Deckchair is hilarious, and went completely under the radar. (It's Australian. I don't even know if it was officially released in America). "Pi" messes with my mind. "The cell" leaves me disturbed and intrigued all in the same breath. "12 Monkeys" just reminds me that Brad Pitt is not some chump pretty boy. Pretty much anything with Johnny Depp, one of the deepest actors that I know of. And I've also begun to have a morbid fascination with Heath Ledger since his death. I was a fan before, but now there is something more haunting to his movies. Check out "Lords of Dogtown". Try this: press fastforward, then rewind, then fastforward (all with your eyes closed) until you have no idea where you are in the movie, and then suddenly put it on pause: You'll have an amazing still shot guaranteed. That movie is just a series of amazing still shots all strung together. The director of photography was awesome.
Favorite Music Admittedly probably more cheesy than I would like. There's what I listed to because I appreciate it, and then there's what I listed to to relax and hang to.
Favorite Books Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand - very prophetic, Farenheight 451 - ALSO very prophetic - read it. You'll see what I mean... The final Quest by Rick Joyner - explains in allegory everything that is happening within the Christian Church today. (although I don't much subscribe to much else in his writings or philosophy. Just that book.) Anything by C.S. Lewis (except "a grief observed". That's a painful read)

You have to dig a hole to China. Where do you start?

about 4 feet to the left of the Chinese border.
