| Introduction | I was born and brought-up in a small village in Bihar. After primary schooling from my village went to Netarhat Residential School where I studied till class Xth. Attended Science College, Patna for Senior Secondary Board (+2). Qualified JEE and joined IIT Kanpur from where I completed B.Tech. in Mech Engg in 2006. Developed interest in developmental issues while studying at IIT and joined JNU for Msters in Economics. After M.A. and M.Phil. cleared Civil Services Exam to join IPS in 2010. I served in IPS in Madhya Pradesh cadre from where I resigned while serving as SP of Sheopur district in Chambal in 2013 to join IAS. Presently I am working as an IAS officer in Delhi. I married my classmate at JNU and long time friend Rijula Uniyal in Dec 2010. She is an IRS officer of 2011 batch. My mother teaches in my native village primary school. I like reading, long-distance running, watching movies and sports. |
