| Introduction | Back in 2005 I lost our first son at just 19 weeks gestation. So when I got pregnant again in 2007 it was determined I had an incompetent cervix and I had a cerclage put in at about 17 weeks and carried our second son to full term. We are pregnant yet again, but this time the cerclage was put in at 14 weeks. At 25 weeks my water broke/leaked and I ended up in the hospital. TONS of speculation later it was confirmed that it was infact amniotic fluid I was leaking. This was found out via ultrasound when my levels went from 12-pretty much nothing in 4 days. |
