| Introduction | Mr. Schraufnagel (or Schrauf) has been a teacher of Speech and Theatre Arts for the past five years at Horace Greeley High School in Chappaqua, NY. Previously, he was a theatre teacher at Chatham High School and Drama Director at Hillsborough High School, both in New Jersey. Besides the numerous productions he stages at high schools, he also works as an actor and director in and around NYC. His work has been seen in numerous Off-Broadway productions as well as in venues like The State Theatre of New Jersey, EST, MTC, Lincoln Center's Director Lab, and the New York International Fringe Festival. Mr. Schraufnagel has an undergraduate degree in Acting from Mason Gross School of the Arts/Rutgers University, and an MA in Educational Theatre from NYU. In addition, he is also a graduate of the Professional Actors' Training Program at William Esper Studios in Manhattan. During his limited free time, Chris enjoys tending bar and performing with his band at local NYC watering holes. Schraufnagel lives with his husband, Troye, and their two dogs (Oscar and Shimmy) and their two cats in Manhattan. He clearly also likes writing about himself in the third person. |
