| Introduction | I have been a member of the staff of Flagler College's Proctor Library since November 1996. On April 1, 2000 (April Fool's Day) it was my good fortune to be appointed Library Director. I'm still here, so I guess it was not a joke. I am now in my 41st year as a librarian. I received my MSLS from Drexel University, Philadelphia in 1968. In my career I worked as a high school librarian for a year, spent some 27 years as a librarian with the federal government in Washington, D.C., and now I am starting my 14th year at Flagler College here in beautiful St. Augustine, Florida. When I am not at the Library, I can usually be found at a Flagler College sporting or cultural event, visiting with my grandkids, or on a cruise with my wonderful wife. |
