Introduction	Hola!! Goverment.. hmm where to begin. I have never considered myself a person thats follows political news at all. From time to time (which is rare) I do find my self reading about it online. My parents were never really into politics, they never voted or really cared about it, yet they considered themselves conservative. To tell you the truth i dont know what party I favor, according to a survey I completed I am a "Social Conservative"... hmm ya about that :D I am proud to say though that I did vote in last years election, yet my vote probably didnt count much I felt GREAT walking out of the courthouse, more American in a weird way, bearing the "I voted" sticker on my shirt was a great feeling. I am the first generation here in the states. I was born and raised in California moved to Texas at 14, and have been here ever since. Texas is definitely diffrent coming from Orange County to Austin was not only a culture shock, but really life changing. Im happy to be here, and I'm hoping to learn more about TX goverment and its corkiness. And excited to learn how my decisions as a taxpayer affects the state to a certain degree. :) I look foward to understanding TX.
