| Introduction | I am a mother - to everyone - but especially to my daughter. I am that person people trust with their private secrets, mostly because I value those talks, and I treasure being honored with that trust. I also enjoy being asked my opinion (because I have one) though I'm not apt to share it when unprompted (anymore). I've learned. I am someone who reads 5 books at a time, and who watches TV as an escape mechanism - to avoid reality (I just say, "No!" to reality shows). I LOVE to laugh, and I only enjoy crying when it's because I'm touched by one of those sappy, sentimental, or romantic stories... the kind of tears my husband doesn't hesitate to literally point at me, laugh out loud, and say, "Sucker!" And, he's right. I love that crap. A true Southern California girl, I still have the dream of someday being a famous movie star (though I have never tried to pursue that avenue of work). Still, I can cry on command! Anyhoo... enough about me. What about you? |

| Favorite Movies | Where do I start? I love movies. I am the antithesis of a movie critic because there isn't a movie out there that I don't enjoy. I love silent movies. I love old westerns. I love musicals. I love foreign films. I love action adventures. I love dramas. I love family films. I love romantic comedies. I love all genres of porn. I am not kidding when I say I love it all! And, if I haven't seen it already, I want to! |
| Favorite Music | Music is another story. I pretty much listen to music only when I go to bed, am reading a book, or when I'm making art. Therefore, I tend to be attracted to new age music or music with sentimental lyrics... and narry the two shall meet. I love the rhythm of human-instrument only music (African or Hawaiian tribal music is amazing to me). I love the lyrics of songs that tell a story of life, and I tend to be attracted to the positive, uplifting stories (I'm over being angry). Still, I love the booty shakin' soul of popular music, too. My favorite thing about visiting New York City is the "street" music. My favorite CD of all time is (and will probably always be) the soundtrack to movie "The Mission." |
