Introduction	I was bit by the "genealogy bug" in 1991. Although I disliked history as a student, I do love researching it now! But my "new life" began in 1996 when we drove fiance (now husband) Peter across the country to live with me, just ahead of Hurricane Fran. We've had a few more storms over the years, but we count among our blessings two grown children, three grandchildren, and three of our parents. We are raising our 10-year-old granddaughter Payton, the light of our lives. Work is stable, and our marriage is happy ... we're not rich, but we are lucky!
