Introduction	Hey everyone. My name is John Fegyveresi and as of this summer (2019), I am now finally working full time as an honest-to-goodness professor at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ. I just recently finished up a job as a Research Scientist at the Cold Regions Research Lab in Hanover, NH studying glaciology, ice cores and climate change. I took on the trail-name "lakewood", during my 2007 thru-hike on the Appalachian Trail. I try to squeeze in an adventure when I can, whether it be long distance hiking, ultrarunning, or simply traveling.
