| Introduction | Hello all, I'm Chase Behrendt and have been working in the health care field, specifically within management, for over 9 years now. I have been the administrator/CEO for 3 private practices as well as the billing manager for a hospital chain in Illinois. I started in healthcare as a receptionist at a pharmaceutical company and progressively worked my way into healthcare management after college positions doing medical records and an internship at a large hospital in Springfield. My career positions have helped me develop skills including revenue cycle management, strategic planning, business operations, human resource development, business development, relationship & financial management. My work experiences are supplemented by an education received at Illinois State University where I double majored in Accounting and Finance with a minor in Insurance. Upon graduation, I entered my graduate program and received my Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in December 2012 with a focus in Finance. I also studied for and received credentialing through Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) for my Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) designation in March of 2014. |
