About me

Introduction I became interested in art as a small child and have created works of art using a variety of media over the years. I started my polymer clay journey in 1994 and my metal clay journey in 2004 with my main focus on jewelry. I also use sterling silver, copper, enamel, fused glass, fibers, resin and paint in some of my work. I hold a certification in Precious Metal Clay and I am a member of the PMC Guild, the National Polymer Clay Guild, the West Virginia Art and Craft Guild and current president of the Kanawha Valley Polymer Clay Guild. I have demonstrated in retail venues and various art shows winning several awards for my work. I teach classes in metal clay and polymer clay away from and at my home studio. My newest endeavor was authoring the book Metal Clay in a Day. I reside in West Virginia with my husband Jerry, daughter Scarlet and my two feline companions.
