| Introduction | I know what you’re thinking: With a name like Herman, you aren’t kidding about the nerd thing, are you? Answer: Not a bit. I mean, it might be different if I was born in the 1930’s or earlier, but then I wouldn’t have a clue what a PCI-Express Slot is, would I? Or a Katamari, for that matter either. Or even shed a tear when Wash of the Serenity was cruelly impaled by Joss Whedon’s indiscriminate need to kill. Of course, I also would not have stumbled across the truly horrific Dracula: The Last Sanctuary (made by DreamCatcher Interactive in 2001) for the PC…. I still have nightmares sometimes…but I digress. I am here to talk about games, movies, tech, fandom, and everything in between – maybe even a comic book here or there (graphic novels, to you purists out there). I might not always be relevant and sometimes I might be irreverent, but stick with me long enough and you’ll find a reason to laugh, rant, cry, and who knows what else. This is the internet, after all.... |
